A new co-generation plant put into operation in Tallinn

An official opening of combined heat and power plant, designed by TEC Industry‘s specialists, took place in Tallinn. The co-generation plant with 67 MW of thermal capacity of power and 21.4 MW of electrical capacity of power was designed by TEC Industry, a company of TEC Group.

The power plant can use also fuel of poorer quality: logging waste and wood chips; peat may account for up to 15% of the fuel. The plant built by Lithuanians will produce 20% of the heat energy required for Tallinn’s district heating system.
