Awards
The viaduct designed in 2019 by TEC Infrastructure, UAB over the railway won the transport infrastructure award in the “Lithuanian BIM Projects” competition held in the summer of 2020. The competition is organised by “Skaitmeninė statyba”, VšĮ and the Lithuanian Builders’ Association. Experts evaluated the implementation of the last year’s construction projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies. The Commission assessed the use of BIM in ensuring sustainability, in the selection of the design solutions and in the use and application of innovative project information.
The viaduct of 436 metres in length in Mažeikiai is one of the most important urban transport projects as well as one of the largest viaducts in Western Lithuania. TEC Infrastructure, UAB used BIM technologies in preparing the concept and detail designs of the object.
On 15 December 2017, a ceremony of awards of a prestigious competition ‘Lithuanian Product of the Year 2017’ was held in the offices of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. Gold Medals were awarded to projects submitted by Panevėžio keliai AB. An innovative Žemaitkiemis junction on A2 motorway was among these projects.
At the competition for the Lithuanian Product of the Year 2017 organised by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority was awarded the Gold Medal for a two-tier overpass crossing railway tracks and Nemunas street. The overpass was designed by TEC Infrastructure (former Tiltų ekspertų centras UAB).
The new overpass is 332 m long. Now trucks delivering cargoes to the seaport can enter its southern part quicker. The two-tier overpass over five railway tracks and Nemunas street held avoid delays and traffic jams, and loading of cargoes onto vessels has been speeded up.
In Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists contest „Lithuanian Product of the Year – 2016“ commission made a decision to give the GOLD medal award to TEC Infrastructure (former Tiltų ekspertų centras UAB) in the product/service category.
2016 product /service gold medal was received for designing the pedestrian bridge in Alytus. This bridge, called White Rose, the symbol of Alytus city, was built by a construction company UAB „Alkesta“. The bridge entered Lithuania‘s records list as the country’s highest pedestrian and bicycle bridge (length of 240.53 m, height of 38.10 m).
