TEC Industry: 25 years of experience in the design industry, consistent growth and innovative solutions

December 16, 2025

TEC Industry is celebrating its 25th anniversary—a quarter-century of consistent growth, improving competencies and experience gained through the implementation of significant projects. Since its founding on 11 December 2000, the company has grown significantly and strengthened its position in the Lithuanian design market, expanding its areas of activity and becoming one of the few companies providing comprehensive engineering services.

This development reflects the increasing demand for engineering services in Lithuania, driven by the expansion of industry and exports in the country and the renewal of the energy sector across Europe. It has enabled TEC Industry to offer a wide range of solutions in various industrial and infrastructure sectors, from the initial design concept to on-site supervision of project implementation.

From the design of energy facilities to complex engineering structures

The journey of TEC Industry began with the design of energy facilities – mainly biofuel boiler plants. At that time, the company had about 10 specialists; the projects were small but significant for Lithuania, which was seeking to break free from its dependence on gas. The competencies acquired became a solid foundation for subsequent development, and the accumulated experience paved the way for increasingly complex projects in Lithuania and abroad. The investment value of some of recent projects exceeds several hundred million euros.

As the demand for engineering services has grown, the company has gradually expanded its areas of activity. TEC Industry specialists have already contributed to the development of major energy and industrial facilities, the design of innovative plants, the modernization of railway infrastructure, and other significant projects in the nuclear energy, oil industry, hydrotechnical and national defence sectors.

Over the past few years, TEC Industry has cooperated with partners and customers such as Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva, Voith Hydro, Bilfinger, Pentasweet, ORLEN Lietuva, KN Energies, Lietuvos geležinkeliai (LTG), Akmenės cementas (Schwenk) and the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (Altra). The company has implemented a number of large-scale projects – ranging from the design of the first innovative brazzein plant in Europe to the improvement of military infrastructure at the Rukla military base and the Šiauliai military air base.

Today, TEC Industry is known in the market as a reliable and professional company that can be entrusted with the implementation of complex engineering projects due to its consistently high quality standards.

Continuous improvement and future perspectives

Our accumulated experience, employee competence and constantly updated knowledge enable the company to smoothly execute existing contracts and confidently take on new projects. Recognising the importance of high-quality project implementation, TEC Industry actively invests in modern technologies, process optimization, professional development, the cultivation of new competencies and the recruitment of engineers in various fields.

Over the past 25 years, the company has grown into a strong team uniting specialists in various fields. Currently, the company has more than 90 professionals, and as project volumes increase, there is an even greater need for specialists. The turnover of TEC Industry is expected to reach 8.2 million euros in 2025, reflecting the growing involvement of the company in an increasingly broad range of complex projects.

TEC Industry CEO Vaidas Laukaitis notes that the company aims not only to ensure the highest quality of projects but also to contribute to the long-term growth of Lithuanian engineering infrastructure:

“As we celebrate this 25th anniversary of our activity, we are proud of the path we have taken and look to the future with even greater ambition – to continue growing, expanding our range of engineering services and implementing projects that will inspire future generations and contribute to the sustainable progress of Lithuania and Europe.”
