September 26, 2019

The company “Klaipėdos nafta” will soon be able to begin the construction of the railway tanker loading trestle for oil products – TEC Industry has prepared the technical project for this trestle and obtained the construction permit.

“The development and growth of our clients is the best evaluation of our work. Congratulations to “Klaipėdos nafta” for successful implementation of expansion plans. We are proud to work with major Lithuanian companies and to be able to contribute to their growth”, – claims Vaidas Laukaitis, the Director General of TEC Industry.

“Klaipėdos nafta” has been carrying out the expansion of the park of light oil products and the optimisation of handling of liquid fuel mixtures since 2016. The new trestle is part of the company`s new economic activities. It is planned that the trestle designed by TEC Industry for unloading of the oil products from the rolling stocks will increase the rail transport. The new trestle will be of 250 m of length with two roads where heavy oil products (fuel oil, vacuum gas oil) as well as light oil products (gasoline, gasoline components, diesel fuel) will be unloaded. Collectors are going to be constructed in the trestle for loading of petrol, diesel and heavy oil products. According to the project, 16 oil product loading points are planned to be constructed on each road of the trestle.

“We are working with companies from practically all industries, so each time we face specific characteristics of activities. One of the major challenges of this project was the understanding of oil handling technologies, and the project was limited by existing infrastructure and structures. However, there are no insurmountable tasks for our long-time professionals; therefore, even in this case we came up and offered to the customer the solution best suited to his expectations,” – adds V. Laukaitis.

TEC Industry is part of the “TEC Group of Companies”, providing design and engineering services for industrial and energy companies. The specialists of the company designed the structures for the starch manufacturer “Amilina” and the fertiliser production company “Lifosa” as well as the boiler house of “Danpower Baltic”, hemp processing factory “Natūralus pluoštas”, and many other industrial and energy objects. TEC Industry prepared technical and work projects for the new reservoir engineering systems for the company “Klaipėdos nafta” in 2017-2018, and obtained construction permit.
